Boy, 14, charged over Bromley stabbing investigation

A 14-year-old boy has been charged as part of a police investigation into a stabbing in Bromley that left three teenagers and a man injured.

Officers were called to Bromley High Street at about 14:15 BST on 10 September after reports of a fight, where three boys aged 14 to 17 and a 21-year-old man were found with stab wounds.

All four were taken to hospital. The Met said three boys have since been discharged, while the 21-year-old remains in hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

A 14-year-old boy was charged with affray and two counts of threatening a person with a bladed article or offensive weapon in a public place.

Eight people were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following the incident.

Six have since been released on conditional bail while police enquiries continue.

The boy appeared at Bromley Magistrates' Court on 12 September and is due to appear again on 16 September.
