Four injured with one critical in Bromley stabbing

Seven arrests have been made after a multiple stabbing in south-east London, according to the Metropolitan Police.

Four men were taken to hospital where one remains in a critical condition.

Paramedics and the London Air Ambulance were called to Bromley High Street at about 14:20 BST on Thursday.

Photos posted on X appeared to show part of Bromley High Street cordoned off by police, with emergency vehicles in attendance.

The high street is currently closed both ways from Ringers Road to Ethelbert Road.

Police remain at the scene and say there is not believed to be any wider threat to the public.

One witness, the manager of Merkur Slots gambling shop, said she saw "a fight spill out" on to the High Street.

She said she became "very worried", and locked three customers inside the premises to wait for the situation to calm down.

She said the customers remained inside and that the shop was still closed.
