A man has been charged with murder after the death of a 32 year-old man in Staffordshire.

Staffordshire Police was called to Hazel Grove, Burntwood just before 09:00 BST on Tuesday, to reports of a fight.

Sashon Richards-Brown, 32, of no fixed abode, was found with significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene just after 10:00.

Corey Magnus, 27, of Burntwood, also known as John Solomon, has been charged with the murder of Richards-Brown; while 33 year-old Danielle Simpson, also from Burntwood, has been charged with assisting an offender. They will appear at North Staffordshire Justice Centre today.

A dog, which police previously said had been found with stab wounds, remains in a serious condition after being taken to an emergency vet.
