Murder accused pleads not guilty over man's death
BBCA man charged with murder after a 32-year-old man died in Staffordshire has pleaded not guilty.
Corey Magnus, 27, also known as John Solomon, denied killing Sashon Richards-Brown, who died when he suffered significant injuries on Hazel Grove, Burntwood, on 5 May.
Danielle Simpson, 33, pleaded not guilty to assisting an offender when the Burntwood pair appeared at Stafford Crown Court on Thursday.
Magnus was remanded into custody while Simpson was released on bail until the trial, which is scheduled to begin on 18 January 2027.
