Services were disrupted after a power failure

Trains in Sussex were disrupted after a power failure in Angmering, National Rail has said.

The rail body said the electricity supply fault was resolved on Sunday afternoon, but services between Barnham and Worthing had been cancelled, revised or delayed while services recovered.

Passengers had been advised to allow extra time for their journeys and check live travel updates before setting off.

National Rail later said services had returned to normal, and train operator Southern Rail posted on X: "Disruption caused by this incident has now ended. No further trains will be affected following this incident."
