Officers were called to the rear of the R Lounge in Becket Well Lane at about 02:30 BST on Sunday 26 April.

Derbyshire Police said Kylan Kelly-Basi, 20, of Park Road, Mickleover, was charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, and conspiring to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life.

He was charged on Friday and appeared at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates' Court on Saturday. Kelly-Basi was remanded in custody and will next appear at Derby Crown Court on 29 May, police said.
