Arrests made after car crash leads to street fight

Police said two cars crashed and then a fight broke out

Two men have been arrested after a crash led to a street fight in Derby.

Derbyshire Police said the fight happened in Osmaston Road, Allenton, after "a minor collision" between a white BMW and a blue Kia Sportage at about 14:15 BST on Sunday.

A Ford Focus then pulled up, and a group of men became involved in the altercation. A 43-year-old man was taken to hospital with a head injury, the force added.

Two men, 18 and 19, have been arrested on suspicion of affray, said the force.

Police appealed for witnesses, CCTV or any footage from a dashcam, doorbell or mobile phone.
