Watch: Cocaine gang taken down in series of arrests

Members of an organised crime network responsible for funnelling cocaine worth millions of pounds into Essex have all now been sentenced.

Detectives from Essex Police spent two years piecing together the conspiracy and "unpicking" the supply chain responsible for trafficking and distributing dozens of kilograms of the Class A drug across the county.

The 10-man gang, which operated across north Essex and Suffolk, has now all been sentenced - with terms up to nine years and four months.

Det Insp Frazer Low, of Essex Police's Serious and Organised Crime Unit, said: "This was a sophisticated and organised operation responsible for moving significant quantities of Class A drugs into our communities."
