'Violent sexual offender' jailed for 10 years
Warwickshire PoliceA man, called a violent sexual offender by a judge, has been jailed for raping and sexually assaulting a woman multiple times in her home.
Alexander Jesus, from Leamington Spa, denied the charges and claimed the entire ordeal, which happened in March 2024, was made up by the victim.
A five day trial Warwick Crown Court saw a jury find the 23-year-old unanimously guilty for rape and other serious sexual offences.
He was jailed for 10 years and given an extended four-year licence period. He was also ordered to sign the sex offenders' register for life.
Det Con Donna Parry commended the victim for her bravery in coming forward and for her commitment to the investigation.
She said: "Her strength and courage are remarkable and while I know no sentence will undo the damage he's done, I hope it goes some way to helping her rebuild her life."
