Authorities investigate death of man at company

A Worcestershire company has said it is working with authorities investigating the death of a man at its site in Redditch.

Jeremy Cieslik, chief executive of Mettis Aerospace, said: "It is with deep sadness that we confirm the death of one of our colleagues on site."

It is understood the man died at the site on Thursday.

"We are cooperating with the authorities as they investigate the circumstances and are supporting those affected," the firm added. "Out of respect for the individual and their family's privacy, we are not able to share further details at this stage."
