Witness appeal after man fatally struck by lorry
GooglePolice have named a pedestrian who died when he was struck by a lorry in Nottingham, and launched a new appeal for witnesses.
Emergency services were called to Bulwell Lane, in Old Basford, at 08:59 BST on 2 September after reports "a man had been involved in a collision with a lorry".
Robert James Clark, 74, who lived locally, was pronounced dead at the scene, Nottinghamshire Police said.
The driver of the lorry stopped at the scene and continues to assist officers with their inquiries. Officers are also looking to trace a number of pedestrians who were in the area at the time, but have not yet given an account.
Case investigator Louise Melbourne, of the force's serious collision investigation unit, said: "We particularly want to speak to a number of pedestrians who we know were in the immediate vicinity when this collision occurred.
"Likewise, if any motorists have any relevant dashcam footage which they have not yet shared with officers, I'd urge them to get in touch."
