Further arrest after man shot in head

Police investigating after a man was shot in the head in Bradford have made a further arrest on suspicion of attempted murder.

Armed officers were called to Gaythorne Road in West Bowling at about 23:00 BST on 7 July. The 28-year-old victim remains in critical condition, West Yorkshire Police confirmed.

A 21-year-old man from Bradford was arrested on Monday, the force said. A 35-year-old man arrested in Ipswich on Sunday, also on suspicion of attempted murder, remains in custody.

Detectives are still seeking 24-year-old Luqman Khan, also from Bradford, in connection with the investigation. He is believed to have travelled to Suffolk and was thought to be in the Ipswich or Felixstowe areas.

Police are still searching for Luqman Khan in connection with the investigation

Officers renewed their appeal for anyone with information to get in touch.
