Overnight closures planned for link road works

There will be a week of overnight closures on a busy Devon road to allow essential works to take place.

The maintenance work is set to be carried out on the A361 North Devon Link Road between Junction 27 and Bolham roundabout starting from Sunday until 20 June.

Devon County Council said the works included safety barrier maintenance, cats-eye replacement, line re-painting, bridge inspections and grass cutting.

The council said all the work had been programmed to be done at the same time to "minimise disruption".

The work will be carried out each night from 20:00 to 06:00 BST using a combination of road and lane closures which can be found on the Devon County Council website.
