Two boys seriously injured in e-scooter fall

Police said the incident happened at about 11:29 BST on Monday

Two boys have been seriously hurt, with one suffering life-threatening injuries, after falling from an e-scooter, police said.

Norfolk Police said two boys were on Frensham Road in Norwich when they fell from the scooter at about 11:29 BST on Monday.

One boy was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge in a life-threatening condition and the other boy was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital but has been discharged.

The force said the reason for the fall had not been established.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any dashcam footage.
