Three arrests over knife attack near nature reserve
GoogleThree people, including a 15-year-old, have been arrested in connection with a knife attack near a nature reserve in Nottinghamshire.
Police said a 32-year-old man was walking on Bembridge Drive, Arnold, on Friday evening near Sandy Banks Nature Reserve when he was attacked, suffering multiple slash injuries to his chest, back and legs.
The injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-altering.
A 54-year-old man, a 42-year-old woman and the 15-year-old boy were all arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, officers said.
Officers came to the victim's aid after spotting him while out on patrol in Oxclose Lane, with paramedics then taking him to hospital soon after.
Det Insp Stu Barson said: "We hope news of this police action provides the public with some reassurance about how seriously we take offences of this nature.
"Despite making these arrests, our investigation into this incident remains ongoing, so we'd ask anyone who has any information that could assist our inquiries to please get in touch."
