Appeal after man stabbed near nature reserve
GooglePolice are searching for two suspects after a 32-year-old man was stabbed near a nature reserve in Nottinghamshire.
Nottinghamshire Police said the man was walking on Bembridge Drive, Arnold, at 19:08 BST on Friday when two men got out of a car and attacked him - with the attack continuing on the steps leading to Sandy Banks Nature Reserve.
The victim sustained slash and stab injuries to his chest, back and legs and he was found by officers on patrol in Oxclose Lane outside the Golden Phoenix restaurant.
He was taken to hospital, and his injuries were not thought to be life threatening or life altering, said officers.
Det Insp Stuart Barson said: "We are actively investigating this attack and officers are in the area conducting house-to-house inquiries.
"The victim sustained multiple stab and slash wound injuries and we need to find those responsible for this."
He asked anyone with information to get in touch.
