Woman found dead in woods identified

Police say they have identified a woman whose body was found in woodland earlier this month.

Devon and Cornwall Police previously released an e-fit image as part of its investigation following the discovery of the body in the Pendarves Wood area near Camborne on 3 May.

The force said the woman's next of kin had been identified and informed, and it wanted to thank the public for their help.

It added that her death was being treated as unexplained but not believed to be suspicious at this time.
