Driver dies in single-vehicle crash in East Sussex

A person has died in a single-vehicle crash in East Sussex.

Sussex Police said the crash happened outside the Priory group's Ticehurst House hospital on the High Street between 21:15 BST and 21:25 on Saturday.

The 33-year-old driver of a red Mazda RX-8 was declared dead at the scene, the force confirmed.

Officers are working to establish what happened and witnesses or anyone with relevant footage is urged to come forward, it added.
