Second murder charge after boy, 16, stabbed

A second man has been charged with murder after a teenage boy was stabbed to death.

Khadeem Parris, 16, from Motherwell, Scotland, died at the scene in Northampton on the evening of 7 July.

Samwari Solomon, 20, of Coalhall Avenue, Motherwell, appeared at Northampton Magistrates' Court on Saturday where he was charged with murder and remanded into custody.

In July, 21-year-old Fuad Mohamud Mohamud of Briar Hill in Northampton was also charged with murder and put on remand.

Emergency services were called to Adnitt Road in Northampton in July

Khadeem was found on 7 July at an address on Adnitt Road in the Abington area of Northampton, police said.

He was described by his family as an "amazing" sibling to his older brother and younger sister and was a "funny, smiling boy".

Solomon will appear at Northampton Crown Court on Monday 10 August.

Two men, aged 19 and 56, and a 51-year-old woman, have been released on police bail after being arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
