Hertfordshire PoliceA man has been found guilty of murder after a stabbing outside a restaurant.
Dequarn Williams, 26, of Dollis Hill in north-west London, was charged with the murder of Jeyanthan Ramachanthran in Bushey, Hertfordshire in November.
Ramachanthran, 32, was found with injuries outside Vu Lounge on Bushey High Street and died in hospital a short time later.
Following a trial at St Albans Crown Court, Williams was found guilty and will be sentenced at the same court on Monday.
Williams, of Sancroft Close, was arrested on 30 November, the day after the stabbing, and Hertfordshire Police said he had left the scene prior to the arrival of officers.
A woman in her 30s was also arrested the day after Williams on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Following an investigation, she faced no further action, police said.
Det Insp Lee Martin, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit, thanked members of the public who assisted with inquiries at the time.
"Our thoughts remain firmly with Jeyanthan's family and friends, who have shown immense dignity throughout what has been an incredibly difficult time," he added.
