Janet Jackson to perform at royal estate festival
Getty ImagesJanet Jackson has been unveiled as the latest addition to the line-up for a royal estate music event.
The five-time Grammy winner will perform at Sandringham in Norfolk on 19 August as part of the Heritage Live Festival, which also includes Ricky Martin, Lionel Richie and Eric Clapton across separate days.
Joining her as special guests during the day will be Wyclef Jean and Soul II Soul.
She last played in the UK in 2024 as part of her Together Again tour, which saw her visit Birmingham, London and Manchester.
Giles Cooper of Heritage Live Festival commented: "We're absolutely delighted to welcome Janet Jackson to our 2026 line-up at Sandringham estate.
"Heritage Live has always aimed to present the very biggest global artists in special settings."
Deacon CommunicationRicky Martin will perform his first UK show in a decade at the event after being announced as a headliner for a "Saturday night pop party".
In previous years the Royal Family's Norfolk retreat has seen performances from Robbie Williams, Mariah Carey and Michael Bublé.
Janet Jackson has achieved the most UK Top 10 singles by a female artist without ever reaching number one on the Official Singles Chart, with 17 hits.
Some of her best-known songs in the UK include Together Again in 1997, All For You in 2001 and Scream, a duet recorded with her brother Michael.
Her 1993 album Janet became her only UK number one album and spent two weeks at the top of the chart.
