Boston May Fair to officially open in town centre
BBCA fair that attracts thousands of visitors every year will officially open later in Boston.
The May Fair is "one of the country's most iconic and historic street fairs", Boston Borough Council said.
The event, featuring attractions, rides and games, will be held in the town centre until 9 May.
Dale Broughton, leader of the council, said: "The Boston May Fair is one of our town's most treasured traditions, and welcoming it back once again is something we look forward to all year."
He added: "We're proud to continue working with our partners at the Showman's Guild to make the fair a safe, inclusive and enjoyable event for everyone."
The fair, which has been held annually in Boston town centre since 1125, celebrated its 900th anniversary last year.
The opening day of the fair will run from 12:00 to 22:30 BST. On Sunday, it will run from 12:00 until 21:00 and on Bank Holiday Monday it will be open from 11:00 until 22:00.
The fair will open from 15:00 to 22:00 on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 15:00 until 22:30 on Friday and between 11:00 and 22:00 on Saturday.
