Thousands gather to take part in Great Brum Run

Great Birmingham RunThousands of people turned up to take part in the AJ Bell Great Birmingham Run.
With 16,000 participants signed up to take part in the 10k and half-marathon, runners gathered on Broad Street on Sunday morning to warm up together.
The sold out race saw the city centre lined with crowds supporting friends and relatives as they crossed the finish line.
Omar Ahmed was the first male to cross the half-marathon finish line with a time of 01:06:10 and Esme Davies the first female with a time of 01:13:48.
Great Birmingham RunFreddie Fielding, from Cornwall Athletic Club, finished first in the 10k with a time of 00:31:24, with Rachel Gifford the first female to cross the finish with a time of 00:35:03.
The run started in Centenary Square, with runners passing landmarks including the Jewellery Quarter, Grand Central and St Martin's Church.
