Manslaughter charge after pub assault death

Carl Holland, who was assaulted outside a pub in west Belfast, died on Thursday

A man has been charged following the death of a man who was punched outside a pub in west Belfast on 12 June.

Carl Holland, 30, died in hospital on Thursday, where he had been in critical condition due to a serious head injury.

A 20-year-old man has been charged with manslaughter.

Police said he will appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court on 15 July.
