Man in his 70s dies following tractor crash

A man in his 70s has died after a crash in County Tyrone.

Dessie Sheridan, who was 77, was driving a tractor when it crashed on the Tullycunny Road in the Fintona area.

It happened at about 18:00 BST on Friday. No other vehicles were involved.

Dessie, who was from Tattyreagh, died at the scene.

Police have said the road will remain closed for much of Saturday and have appealed for anyone who witnessed the crash to contact them.
