The crash, involving a Volvo and a Mazda, happened in the Clanabogan Road area on Sunday morning

One person has died following a two-vehicle crash in Omagh, County Tyrone.

A Volvo and a Mazda were in collision on the Clanabogan Road at about 09:10 BST on Sunday morning.

Emergency services attended the scene and one person was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said the road, which was closed for a time, has since reopened, and have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
