Man charged after death of woman in County Antrim

A man has been charged after the death of a woman in County Antrim.

The woman died in the Old Mill Drive area of Newtownabbey in October 2025.

The 41-year-old has been charged with non-fatal strangulation, domestic abuse and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

Police said he will also be reported to the Public Prosecution Service for manslaughter.

The man is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
