Teenage driver killed in two-car crash in Fife
GoogleA teenage driver has died after a two-car crash near Kelty in Fife.
The 17-year-old man's Toyota Aygo collided with a Volkswagen Golf on the B914, near its junction with the A823, at about 02:25.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the occupants of the Volkswagen were not at the scene when officers arrived but a 20-year-old man was later arrested in connection with the crash.
Sgt Lee Walkingshaw said: "Our thoughts are with the 17-year-old male who has died.
"We are carrying out extensive inquiries to establish the full circumstances of this crash and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed what happened to contact police.
"In addition, anyone with dashcam footage from around the time of the incident is asked to get in touch as this may be able to assist."
