Teenage motorcyclist seriously injured in crash
Witthaya Prasongsin/Getty ImagesA teenage motorcyclist suffered serious injuries and had to be airlifted to hospital after a crash which closed a road for nearly seven hours.
The 19-year-old was involved in a single-vehicle collision on the B1078 Ipswich Road, in Nedging Tye, near Hadleigh, Suffolk, just after 19:00 BST on Tuesday.
Emergency services were called to the scene before the male rider was taken by air ambulance to Addenbrookes Hospital, in Cambridge.
Suffolk Police has launched an investigation into the crash and appealed for anyone who may have witnessed the incident it to contact them.

The crash resulted in Ipswich Road being closed for several hours and traffic congestion.
It was reopened by officers at 01:40 BST.
