Man in court after car crashes into home
Marc Talbot-PhillipsA man has pleaded not guilty to driving offences after a car crashed into a house, leaving the residents homeless and two men seriously injured.
The crash involved an Audi A4 colliding with a house wall in Stapleton, near Martock in Somerset, on 6 July 2025. Two passengers,Zakahria Jammeh and Jake Brown, were seriously injured, Taunton Crown Court was told.
Ryan Lampert, 26, of the Millands, Somerton, appeared at the court on Monday charged with two counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and two counts of causing serious injury by disqualified driving.
He pleaded not guilty to all counts. He is next due to appear at the same court on 1 September.
