A man in his 60s has been arrested on suspicion of murder after an elderly man was found dead in Romney Marsh, police have said.

Kent Police launched an investigation after receiving a report of concern for a person in Holly Road, St Mary's Bay, at 09:30 BST on Thursday.

The force said that officers attended, along with paramedics, and a man in his 90s was confirmed dead.

It added that both men were known to each other and that the suspect remained in custody.
