People unable to go home after building collapse
BBC/Adele ForrestResidents evacuated from their homes after a building partially collapsed have been told they cannot return due to ongoing safety concerns.
Several people were forced out of the affected flats and a number of neighbouring properties in London Road, Sheffield, when part of the front wall collapsed into the street in the early hours of Sunday morning
Sheffield City Council said those affected had spent Sunday night in a hotel, adding that the authority had been working with the building owner to make the site safe.
A spokesperson said one lane of London Road remained closed to traffic following the collapse.
