Body found in search for missing teen on holiday
BBCA body has been found during a search for a missing 15-year-old boy who was reported to have got into difficulty in the sea.
On 1 September the coastguard said a major sea search for a missing teenager at Marloes Sands beach, Pembrokeshire, had been called off after two days.
HM Coastguard said at about 15:30 BST on 31 August, it received a report that three people were experiencing difficulty in the water.
Two managed to get out of the water, but the teenage boy, who was visiting the area on holiday from Yorkshire, was unaccounted for. The search was suspended at 19:30 BST on Monday.
Dyfed-Powys Police said the next of kin have been informed.
Pembrokeshire councillor Claire George previously said Marloes was remote and hard to access, adding that some beaches were safer than others.
She said: "It's a very dynamic environment. The sea can change at any minute, the weather can change at any minute, so people need to be aware of the risks."
