Teens held after man punched and kicked unconscious
GettyThree teenagers have been arrested over an assault after a man was found unconscious in Nottingham city centre.
Police were called to Clumber Street at 01:15 BST on Saturday where witnesses said a man had been punched and kicked by a group of people.
An 18-year-old man and two boys, 13 and 16, have been arrested on suspicion of committing grievous bodily harm with intent and remain in police custody.
Det Insp Ian Smith said the victim's injuries "aren't as serious as initially thought" and the man was taken to hospital for treatment to a broken nose.
"This was a nasty assault," he said. "Due to the time and location where this took place, we expect there will have been several people who will have witnessed this assault happen.
"If that was you, we want to hear from you immediately."
