Homes across South East lose water after main burst

Homes in Surrey, East Sussex and Kent have been hit by water supply problems following a burst main.

South East Water says properties in Firs Close, Aylesford, Kent, Colemans Hatch, Hartfield, East Sussex and Verran Road in Camberley, Surrey, have been affected.

The company has apologised to customers who have either lost their supply altogether or who have low pressure.

It said it is trying to fix the damaged main "as a priority", and will return supplies to normal as soon as it can.
