Appeal after cyclist seriously hurt in hit and run
Derbyshire PolicePolice have appealed for witnesses after a cyclist in his 70s was seriously injured in a hit and run crash in Ripley.
Derbyshire Police said the cyclist was left with serious injuries after the crash at about 11:20 BST on 24 April on the A610 Sainsbury's roundabout.
The force said the man was taken to hospital and was now recovering from his injuries.
Officers said they were keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident – in particular anyone with dashcam footage that may have captured the collision – or the moments leading up to it or after it.
