Section of M1 reopens after 'serious collision'
National HighwaysA section of the M1 has reopened following a "serious collision", National Highways has said.
It said at about 18:40 BST that the northbound carriageway was closed between Junction 23 and Junction 23 near Loughborough after a crash.
Drivers were warned of delays of an hour being reported on the approach to the crash.
Two lanes have since been reopened, while one remains closed to allow for vehicle recovery, National Highways said.
