Man in his 20s dies after motorbike crash
GoogleA man has died following a motorbike crash in Braunstone Town.
Leicestershire Police said emergency services were called to Radford Drive shortly after 18:00 BST on Monday, following the crash involving a Yamaha R6 motorcycle.
The force said it was reported a fire had then started, which set the motorcycle and a nearby parked car alight.
The rider of the motorbike - a man in his 20s - was pronounced dead a short time later, police added.
A scene preservation was put in place and officers said they had been working alongside colleagues from the fire service on Tuesday to establish the circumstances.
Police appealed for anyone who saw the collision, or has CCTV or dashcam footage which may be relevant, to contact the force.
