Motorcyclist dies and pedestrian injured after crash
GoogleA motorcyclist has died and a pedestrian has been seriously injured following a crash.
Leicestershire Police said it was called to Narborough Road South, Braunstone Town, at about 22:35 BST on Thursday.
The motorbike - a grey Yamaha FZ1 – was travelling on the service road in Narborough Road South and the pedestrian was in the road at the time of the crash, the force said.
The rider of the motorbike, a 30-year-old man, was taken to his hospital where he died from his injuries in the early hours of Friday. The pedestrian, a 39-year-old man, is currently in hospital with serious injuries.
PC Kieran King said: "We are asking anyone who was in the area at the time of the collision, or just before and may have any information, to make contact.
"We are very keen to access any dashcam or CCTV footage of either person at the time of the collision or beforehand."
