Parents have been warned about cannabis-laced gummies disguised as sweets after some were seized by police in Swindon, reports Gloucestershire Live.
The Wilts and Gloucestershire Standard reported that the Court of Appeal increased the prison sentence of Liberty Mitchell. Judges agreed that the young driver's original sentence for killing two people in a crash while speeding was unduly lenient.
Bristol Live spoke with the sister of murdered teenager Darrian Williams as she plans a community fun day event in the park where he was stabbed. The event will raise funds for the Bin The Blade anti-knife crime campaign organisation.
The same online news site also reported that work has begun on the Ashton Gate Sporting Quarter, which will include a 5,000-capacity basketball arena, conference centre, hotel and new homes.
Meanwhile, the Swindon Advertiser reported that Radio 1 DJ Jamie Laing has announced his interest in potentially buying the town's Oasis leisure centre.
