Markets open higher as US producer prices fall in June
For a second consecutive day, there's been inflation data showing a downward trend. US producer prices, which track the cost of goods at the factory level, unexpectedly fell in June.
They dropped 0.3% last month, which is another sign that prices are falling despite the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
