US stocks rise despite worst month for tech stocks

US stocks have edged higher at the open as they round off what looks set to be their best quarter in years. That's despite the Iran war, the spike in oil prices, and recent volatility in tech, which has experienced its biggest sell-off of the year, as investors wrestle with soaring AI valuations.
