Footage captures extent of blaze at nature reserve
Footage captured by firefighters shows the extent of the task ahead of them, as they try to control a major blaze at a nature reserve.
About half of Holme Fen in Cambridgeshire has been affected, with crews from across the East of England and as far away as Merseyside being called to tackle the flames.
Their videos throughout the week show a helicopter dropping water into the wooded reserve, and other shots taken at night show glowing embers through the undergrowth.
Crews are expected to remain at the site, south of Peterborough, into next week.
