Quadruplet capybaras born at wildlife park
A zoo has welcomed four additions to its capybara family.
Shepreth Wildlife Park, in Cambridgeshire, said the newborn pups arrived during the night on 15 October to mum Pepita.
Cabybaras are native to South America, are the world's largest rodent and can grow up to 1.3m (4ft 3in) long, and litters are typically four to eight pups.
The wildlife park said that once the genders of the pups were established, it would be inviting people to help name them, with all of the youngsters in its capybara family traditionally given Latin American-inspired food names.
