Watch: Dust devil spotted in field after wildfire

Firefighters spotted a dust devil in a field after extinguishing a wildfire.

Crews from Corby and Oundle in Northamptonshire filmed the footage near Thurning and posted it on social media.

A dust devil is a small whirlwind resembling a miniature tornado, formed when hot air near the ground rises rapidly in dry conditions.

The fire service said the blaze started after a stone struck by a combine harvester created a spark but the dust devil did not cause the fire to spread.
