Watch: Farmers and fire crews tackle crop fire

A group of farmers worked alongside the fire service to tackle a large grassland crop fire on an estate.

Crews from Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire fire and rescue services were sent to the Tetworth Hall Estate, near Gamlingay in Cambridgeshire, on Sunday.

On social media, Drone Photos Sandy said it was alerted at about 18:30 BST to a "rather sizeable grassland crop fire" and offered the use of its drone to view the affected area and show ground fire commanders where it was spreading.

Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service has been contacted by the BBC.

Drone Photos Sandy added: "Local farmers used their own tractors with water trailers to fight spreading fire too.

"Luckily no harm to any persons. Amazing work by our fire services and local farmers."
