Why is there a high risk of wildfires?

BBC South West environment and tourism correspondent Kirk England has been looking at the latest warning around wildfires.

The wildfire risk has been raised to red with Forestry England saying the hot, dry start to summer had made it easy for fires to ignite and get out of control.
