Meet Colin, the barefoot barber of Cutteslowe

Colin Aldridge gave up wearing shoes more than 20 years ago after attending a wedding with friends in Pakistan.

He says that walking through puddles is "lovely, you can splash in them and be a kid again".

He has had his hairdressing salon in Cutteslowe, Oxford since 1990, but said he does wear shoes when cycling to work.

Now, as retirement approaches, his loyal customers have even signed a petition urging him to stay.
