Footage shows rollercoaster swinging up and down before stopping

Video footage has shown the moment carriages on a rollercoaster swung up and down before coming to a stop.

Firefighters rescued 27 people stuck on the Wipeout ride at Pleasurewood Hills in Lowestoft.

An eyewitness told the BBC there was a power cut at the theme park, and the video appears to show a worker subsequently tending to the carriages. The carriages begin moving, but become stuck moments later.

A Pleasurewood Hills spokesperson "sincerely apologised" to everyone affected.
