'Food costs are going up': Farmer on drought impact

Farmers across England have been telling the BBC how the hot and dry weather has been impacting their livelihoods.

Staffordshire farmer Rob Mollatt said his property is starting to feed their cattle from their winter feed stock "because there's simply no grass in the fields".

"Most farms are in the same boat. No one has excess feed around," he said.

The Environment Agency has declared a drought in more than half of England, including Staffordshire in the West Midlands.
